The Quiners – A Family That Dances!
The Quiners – Ellie, Caroline, Rachel, Savannah, Michelle, and Jillian are a family that dances!
Living in Long Valley, New Jersey, (and Texas, too!) their love for dance and each other is apparent, and with all six sisters dancing (plus choreographing and teaching!) in every direction, you’d think there just might be a little bit of ego and a little bit of competition, but you’d be wrong. They’re completely grounded, supportive of each other—and very fun-loving—just check out their social media!
Inside Dance teamed up with this super six again in 2026 to talk about all things dance and including and the ultimate balancing act known as their schedule. In this edition, we asked each of them to share what they’re looking forward to in 2026!

Jillian (28)
This year I am performing in my second season with Ad Deum Dance Company. Currently, we are preparing for our week-long spring intensive along with a culminating event over the weekend called Project Dance Houston. I’m most looking forward to learning from the guest teachers we are bringing in as well as sharing a variety of our repertory with the intensive participants and broader community.
Michelle (26):
I’m really excited (and slightly terrified, haha!) to be choreographing my first professional commission with my company American Repertory Ballet! I feel so lucky and honored to have this opportunity! The piece will be performed in May as part of ARB’s “Americana” program.
Savannah (23):
We’re currently working on Cinderella at ARB which I’ve never done before so that’s pretty cool! I’m excited to see what repertoire we do in the spring and summer.
Rachel (20):
In 2026 ,I’m looking forward to continuing growing in artistry as a Company Dancer with American Repertory Ballet. I’m also always trying to improve how I teach and choreograph. Something new I’m learning this year is how to edit on a Mac using Final Cut Pro!
Caroline (18):
I am looking forward to my upcoming spring performances with New Jersey Ballet of Sleeping Beauty and Serenade. I am also excited for summer and warmer weather to arrive after this winter cold!
Elliana (16):
I am currently preparing for my exam at ABT’s JKO School. I am also excited for our end of the year performance!
