Highlights from the 2023 Dance For Janie Dance-A-Thon!
A Time to Dance for Hope and Healing.
Star Dance Alliance and over twenty leading dance studios across the United States and Canada have partnered with Janie’s Fund and Youth Villages to bring much needed awareness to the epidemic of child abuse and raise valuable resources to support children and young adults in their trauma recovery. Dance for Janie was created to further empower young people by using artistic expression (dance) to build a strong, resilient, and caring next generation of advocates that will use their voice to end abuse.
Participating Star Dance Alliance studios hosted fun-filled Dance-A-Thon events where 100% of the proceeds go to Janie’s Fund and Youth Villages! Inside Dance is honored to be a partner and sponsor with Dance for Janie studio events that showcase the heart and passion each studio’s program commits to the cause. Witnessing how each dance studio brings awareness to their communities across local television stations, social media, and direct community outreach is inspiring!
In 2023, these incredible studios raised over $181,000. To date, Dance for Janie supporters have donated over $343,000 to help this impactful mission and charity. The motto, ‘A time to dance for hope and healing’ has been the heartbeat each studio shares as one team.
