THE Meghan Sanett! July 2024
THE MEGHAN SANETT!
“Nothing to prove, everything to share.” Those are words Meghan Sanett lives by.
Inspired by the greats, she fell in love with dance at the tender age of 3 and hasn’t looked back. “I first fell in love with dance when my mom showed me old Hollywood musicals like Singin’ In The Rain when I was about 3-years-old. Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, and Cyd Charisse were the trio of performers that made my little heart feel so many emotions like joy, excitement, drama, and pure entertainment,” she told us. “I don’t think I really understood how talented and seasoned these performers were or how much I would grow to love dance but the showmanship of those three legends catapulted my brain into thinking, ‘How can I do what they do?’ from a very young age.” Now as a professional dancer and educator currently based in Los Angeles, Sanett’s resume includes extensive training and experience in New York City – and she still finds it hard to choose which city she loves best! “Ultimately, both coasts hold very special places in my heart for very different reasons,” she said. “LA is where my family is and it’s forever my home but NYC was a spectacular place to work, learn, and test my limits. I’m grateful to both places because I wouldn’t be who I am
