Celebrating Dance in Primetime

Once upon a time DANCE became front and center across primetime viewing slots and networks… and it hasn’t slowed down since! For decades and seasons, the WORLD has had the privilege of witnessing talent from around the globe take center stage. For those of us who have grown up in this era, it seems common to see dance in television, film, streaming services and more during our lifetime. For others, we’ve had the honor of watching this growth take place as both dancers and choreographers become household names! How incredibly wonderful!

In this issue of Inside Dance, we celebrate the 2023 and 2024 seasons of just a few of America’s most favorite dance programs – Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. Both continue to evolve as the audiences (and viewing platforms) change and both have created celebrities out of their professional stars, as well as inspiring countless dance shows, tours and opportunities around the world. The talent this season continues to catapult the possibilities and dreams of goal-setters across the country. Our hearts are continually filled with applause and awe for those that work tirelessly to not only entertain their audiences, but bring us into their world of passion for DANCE!
